- MedicsPro are seeking experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurses - Band 6 with recent Private or NHS experience, who are looking for flexible extra shifts or full-time agency work in Fortius Clinic in London.
This opportunity is to cover Monday - Sunday, day shifts, during the hours of 7.30am-8pm. Various Working Shifts Available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for preparing the operating room by ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use. This includes laying out surgical instruments in the order they will be needed during the procedure.
* Work directly with the surgical team, providing instruments and supplies as needed, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon to facilitate a smooth operation.
* Work closely with circulating nurses, who manage the non-sterile aspects of the operating room, including paperwork and supply management. This teamwork is essential for maintaining efficiency and safety during surgical procedures.
* After surgery, assist in cleaning the operating room and preparing for the next procedure, as well as participating in the counting of instruments to ensure nothing is left inside the patient.
