Description
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Theatre Equipment Manager to join our busy hospital team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operating theatres and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

As the Theatre Equipment Manager, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and coordination of all theatre equipment and instruments, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and available when needed. You will work closely with clinical and technical teams to support surgical services across multiple operating theatres.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the daily management, maintenance, and availability of all theatre equipment.
* Ensure all equipment is serviced, repaired, and tested in accordance with hospital policies and manufacturer guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure equipment readiness for scheduled procedures.
* Liaise with suppliers, procurement, and biomedical engineering teams regarding servicing, replacement, and upgrades.
* Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, usage, and maintenance schedules.
* Support staff with training and safe operation of theatre equipment.
* Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives within the theatre department.
