- Key Locums are working with a specialist GP surgery to offer locums on a regular and ad hoc basis.
The surgery in question is based in Croydon and provide healthcare services to patients from the following backgrounds:
-Homeless
-Asylum Seekers
As these patients often require multiple diagnoses, the surgery offer 3x15 min appointments per hour. They also provide translators for all patients who require them, and extend appointments by 5 minutes in this case.
No home visits are required, but the surgery do look for full days including face to face and admin.
The role is complex and provides an interesting change from regular surgeries with patients presenting a huge range of issues. It is a perfect opportunity for a GP looking to try out something new and different to expand their skills with a different patient base.
