- Belfast Health and Social Care Trust is seeking enthusiastic locum Senior House Officers for two specialties based at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH). These are fixed-term posts offering valuable clinical experience within a dynamic acute hospital environment.
Acute Medicine Locum SHOs
Number of posts: 2
Base: Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast
Duties: Ward management, covering the acute medical take
Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
Proposed start date: 6 August 2025
Duration: 6 months initially

Payment Terms
Payment for these locum SHO roles can be arranged via either PAYE or an umbrella company.
Person Specification
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
At least 12 months' postgraduate experience (FY2 or equivalent)
Demonstrable interest in Acute Medicine
Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and professional attitude
