- Description
- This appointment is for a 1.0WTE Consultant Psychiatrist who will lead on the provision of high-quality care to service users within the Gloucester "Severn" Recovery Team alongside a 0.6wte Consultant.
The team is also supported by a Specialty doctor. Medics are not expected to hold an independent caseload, but rather offer medical assessments and clinical expertise to referrals and to those service users who are care coordinated by the MDT.
This trust remains committed for a 7.5:2.5 DCC:SPA ratio and the Consultant will join the established Consultant body for on call, cross cover arrangements and continuing
professional development.
The timetable is for 7.5 DCC sessions and 2.5 SPA sessions.
Morning:
Monday Out patient Clinic
Tuesday MDT
Wednesday New Patient Clinic
Thursday Outpatient Clinic
Friday Clinical Administration
Afternoon:
Monday Academic Programme SPA
Tuesday Professional meeting & team liaison
Wednesday Clinical Administration
Thursday 0.5 Clinical Administration 0.5 SPA
Friday SPA

On call is a requirement subject to appropriate notice period and service need. The adult on call rota is currently 1 in 20 and attracts 0.5 PA payment (0.25 for on call and 0.25 PA for section 12 work)
