Norwich Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to join our small but dynamic and friendly team on a full time or part time basis. This post has the flexibility to work around family life and attracts a bonus premium of £2,000. £1,000 on completion of probation (3 months) and £1000 At month 13. (T&C's apply)
You will be working with the wider hospital multidisciplinary team to support them with medicines management and provide pharmacy services to patients in both inpatient ward and the outpatient department. This is a great opportunity for a community pharmacist looking to further develop their clinical skills. You will be supported and encouraged to seek further training required to fulfil your role as a pharmacist.
Duties and responsibilities:
* The provision of an exemplary pharmacy service, in accordance with current legislation, clinical requirements and accepted professional and ethical standards.
* The provision of advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients whilst ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
* To advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments, whilst staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards
* Promoting a patient focused multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service.
Who we're looking for:
* Be GPHC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
* Communication/organised/role model/showcase excellent patient care etc.
* Suitable for Community or Hospital based Pharmacist - No hospital experience Necessary.
* Desirable to have a minimum of 1-year, post-graduation experience in a community or hospital environment

Salary/Working Hours:
* GPHC registered.
* Desirable to have a minimum of 1-year, post-graduation experience in a community or hospital environment.
* £43,000 - £50,000 (please advertise as a band 7 Depending on experience).
* Full time basis but 30 hours would also be considered.
* Shifts are Mon - Friday 08:30 - 18:30 Some Saturdays on a shared rota basis / Occasional Bank holiday working.
