- We are seeking GP's to work at a Community Hospital throughout October as follows:
Friday 1st October - PM Session (total 5 hours)
Wednesday 6th October - PM session (5 hours)
Wednesday 13th October - PM session (5 hours)
Monday 18th October - am & pm (total 8 hours)
Tuesday 19th October - PM session (5 hours)
Wednesday 20th October - PM session (5 hours)
Thursday 21st October - am & pm (total 8 hours)
Friday 22nd October - PM Session (5 hours)
Monday 25th October - am & pm (total 8 hours)
Tuesday 26th October - PM session (5 hours)
Wednesday 27th October- - PM session (5 hours)
Thursday 28th October - am & pm (total 8 hours)
To summarise the vacancy:
Oxford Health operates an inpatient ward. The ward looks after up to 18 patients that are a mixture of 'step downs' from secondary care or 'step ups' from the community and occasionally some patients requiring palliative care.
We require GPs to provide medical care to these patients which will involve ward rounds, writing up drug charts, TTOs and attending to any acute medical matters concerning these patients on the day.
The clinical system that we use is called 'Carenotes' and training can be provided as part of the induction programme.
